Bio-Sketch  Jerry Brown PsyD

Jerry Brown has worked in the chemical dependency field for 42 years and in the counseling field for 52 years.  He is in private practice Costa Mesa, Ca, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology    He is the author, national lecturer, and has written journal articles in the field as well as teaching over 500 units in local colleges and universities as an adjunct professor.     He specializes in chemical dependency, family therapy with parents of adult children with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis issues as well as complex psychological testing.  Dr. Brown has appeared as an expert on INTERVENTION (A&E) and numerous radio programs, and the Endless Summer in a feature on The Wedge, in Newport Beach.  He is an avid long-distance bicycle rider.
